Page scrape, site crawl, URL map and web search.
- Scrape a single page
- Crawl a site
- Map site URLs
- Search the web
You paste your own Firecrawl API key, so every page it fetches spends your own credits. Protuno uses it to crawl and search the web for site checks.
No install needed for the audit. We suggest connecting a staging copy of your site first, before your live site.
Reads can run on their own. Writes ask you first by default.

Scrape a single pagefirecrawl.page.scrape.read

Crawl a sitefirecrawl.site.crawl.read
Finds and scrapes the pages under a URL, using its sitemap and links. Protuno asks for up to 25 pages per run, a limit Protuno sets. Each page costs 1 credit. It respects robots.txt.
Map site URLsfirecrawl.site.map.read
Lists the URLs Firecrawl can find on a site. Each map call costs 1 credit, however many URLs come back.
Search the webfirecrawl.web.search.read
Searches the web and returns the matching pages. Costs credits from your Firecrawl balance.
Protuno uses Firecrawl to fetch pages, follow their links, map a site and search the web. Every page fetched spends your own Firecrawl credits. Protuno never writes to or changes the site it crawls.
Crawls pages of a site you name and reads their text, so Protuno can spot pages that look broken.

How it connects: you paste your own Firecrawl API key, which starts with fc- and comes from the Firecrawl dashboard. There is no sign-in step and no scope setting, so the key carries your account's credit balance and plan limits.
Open the API Keys page at firecrawl.dev/app/api-keys and copy the key that starts with fc-.
you see: Firecrawl shows the key once it is generated.
you see: A short field asking for the key. Nothing is contacted yet.
you see: Reads on the left: page scrape, site crawl, URL map and web search. On the right, no writes are available.
There are no writes for this connector, so nothing waits for your yes.
you see: A row for each read, all running on their own.
you see: A sentence naming the reads granted, and a confirm button.
A small amount of scraping works without an API key, capped per IP per day. Reliable use needs a free or paid Firecrawl account and API key. Higher page volumes need a paid plan (Hobby, Standard, Growth or Scale), because credits and rate limits scale with the plan.
Limits are per minute and rise with your Firecrawl plan. How many pages can run at once also scales with the plan. Firecrawl's rate limits page has the current numbers.
This connector is read only. It cannot log in, fill forms or click on a page, and it does not override a site's robots.txt.
Protuno asks Firecrawl for up to 25 pages per crawl. Firecrawl's own default is higher, so that cap is Protuno's. Results stay retrievable from the API for 24 hours after completion, and afterward they are only visible in Firecrawl's activity logs. Each crawled or scraped page costs 1 credit from your balance. Map calls cost 1 credit per call, whatever the result size.
The most common cause is a 402 Payment Required error. Firecrawl checks that the account's remaining credits can cover the requested crawl limit before it starts, so a topped-up credit balance fixes it.
In Firecrawl, delete or rotate the API key from the account's API Keys page. Disconnecting in Protuno does not revoke the key at Firecrawl. Delete it there to cut access for good.
Capability names and default settings (on its own or ask first) are Protuno's own, and they can change as the product develops. Playbook plan, schedule and date come from Protuno's agent pages. Protuno last confirmed this connector's build status on 13 Oct 2026. Vendor limits and permissions on this page follow the vendor's public documentation as reviewed on 13 Oct 2026. The vendor's own page is the final word.
The free audit looks at the site from the outside. Connect tools afterwards, one capability at a time.
