Delete My Data.

One email deletes your account and the personal data attached to it. No form, no retention call, no reason required.

Effective date: 1 September 2026

This page explains how to ask POSIMYTH INC to delete the personal data we hold about you as the operator of Protuno. It sits alongside the erasure right described in our Privacy Policy, and gives you the exact route to use it.

1. How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the address on your Protuno account, with “Data deletion request” in the subject line.

That is the whole process. You do not have to give a reason, we will not ask you to sit through a retention offer, and asking does not change how we treat you in the meantime.

2. What to put in the email

Two things let us find your records and confirm the request is really yours:

  • The email address on the account. Sending from that address is the simplest way to verify it. If you cannot, tell us the account email and we will verify another way before deleting anything.
  • Which sites, if not all of them. By default we delete the account and every connected site record under it. If you only want one site removed, name it.

If you never created an account and only ran a free scan, send the domain you scanned and we will delete that scan record.

3. What we delete

  • Your account, profile details and login credentials.
  • Connected site records, including stored site credentials and application passwords.
  • Scan results, agent run history and generated reports.
  • Free scan data held against your email or domain.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account, its site connections or its run history afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first.

4. What we have to keep

Two categories survive a deletion request, because the law requires them rather than because we want them:

  • Billing and tax records — retained as long as tax law requires, currently up to 7 years. These are held by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record and by us for accounting.
  • Security and abuse records — where we need them to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or to prevent fraud.

Everything else is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. The full retention table is in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.

5. How long it takes

We acknowledge your request within 1 to 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Backups roll off on their own cycle, so a copy can persist in encrypted backup storage for up to 90 days after the live data is gone, after which it is overwritten. Nothing in a backup is used for anything in the meantime.

We will email you to confirm when it is done.

6. Before you send it

  • Revoke Protuno’s access at the site. In each connected WordPress site, delete the application password you issued to Protuno. That takes effect immediately and does not depend on us.
  • Cancel your subscription if it is still active. Deleting your data is not the same as cancelling billing. Cancel from Settings → Billing, or ask us in the same email.
  • Ask for a refund separately if you want one. The 14-day window and how to claim it are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund.
