WP Doctor
CareDiagnoses a problem you report and matches it to a known cause. It applies a fix only for safe WordPress-level causes and hands everything else back with exact steps.
A written Markdown report of which plugins were updated, which were held back and how the site checked out afterwards.
Checks that updates are pending, the site is healthy, at least 200 MB is free and no other run is active, and records which plugins are active. It stops here if any check fails.
Creates a labeled backup of your wp-content folder and your database before any plugin is touched.
Checks the backup files open and the database copy is complete before any update runs.
Applies only the updates that look safe. Plugins with a known vulnerability go first. Releases under 7 days old, major version jumps, plugins not on wordpress.org and page builder or shop plugins (Elementor, WooCommerce, WPML and similar) are held back.
Updates the chosen plugins one at a time, checking the site after each. If an update breaks the site, it puts that plugin back and stops, leaving the remaining plugins untouched.
Checks plugin state, error logs and the front end after the updates, and compares active plugins with the start.
Reloads the pages that matter and checks each returns real content with no critical error.
Writes the final report, releases the run lock and notifies your channel if one is set.
The free audit looks at the site from the outside, from the address alone. Connect the site afterwards to let playbooks run.
We suggest connecting a staging copy of your site first, before your live site.
