WooCommerce Connector.

Protuno reads orders, products, sales and store health from your WooCommerce store. It is read only, using a Read REST API key you create on that store.

What It Does

What Protuno Does With WooCommerce.

Reads

Products and stock

Reads products with their stock level and stock status.

Reads

Sales totals

Reads sales totals and order counts for a period.

Reads

Store health

Reads the system status report, which covers active plugins, theme, database and environment, to catch conflicts or outdated components that affect checkout.

Reads

Gateways

Reads which payment gateways are enabled and their settings to confirm checkout has not silently lost a payment method.

Set Up · 5 steps

You See The Full List Before Anything Is Granted.

How it connects: you create a Read key and secret on your store, paste them into Protuno, and Protuno uses them over HTTPS.

  1. Step 1

Create a Read REST API key

In WordPress, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and click Add key.

Choose a user, set Permissions to Read, then click Generate API key.

you see: The site shows a consumer key and a consumer secret one time only.

  2. Step 2

    Paste the keys

Paste the consumer key (it starts ck_) and the consumer secret (it starts cs_) into Protuno for this site.

you see: Protuno confirms it can reach the store's REST API.

  3. Step 3

    See what it can do

Protuno asks the store which reads are available.

you see: The reads Protuno can use, matched to the key's permission level.

  4. Step 4

    Choose what runs

    Reads run on their own.

Writes ask you first by default, and this connector has no write tool.

you see: A list of the reads that run on their own.

  5. Step 5

    Confirm what you grant

    Confirm
Protuno states the grant as one plain sentence and asks you to agree.

you see: A sentence such as 'Protuno can read orders, products, sales totals, system status and payment gateways on example.com.'

Before You Connect It

Questions.

What WooCommerce plan or tier does this need?

None beyond WooCommerce itself. The REST API ships with WooCommerce 3.5+ on WordPress 4.4+. No paid tier is required to generate keys.

What are the rate limits?

WooCommerce does not publish an official rate limit for the REST API. Throughput depends on the site's own hosting and server configuration, not a number WooCommerce sets.

What can't Protuno do in WooCommerce?

This connector is read only. It cannot delete orders or products, create refunds, or change customers, coupons or store settings.

How fresh is the data?

Every read is a live call to the store's REST API at the time Protuno asks. There is no cache layer on WooCommerce's side, so results reflect the store at that moment.

A read is failing. What is the usual cause?

The most common cause is a 401 Unauthorized. It means the consumer key or secret is wrong, the key's user lacks access to the resource, or pretty permalinks are not enabled in Settings > Permalinks. Default permalinks make the API endpoints unreachable.

How do I revoke access?

In WordPress, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and revoke or delete the key. Disconnecting in Protuno does not revoke the key at your store. Delete it there to cut access for good.

Capability names and default settings (on its own or ask first) are Protuno's own, and they can change as the product develops. Playbook plan, schedule and date come from Protuno's agent pages. Protuno last confirmed this connector's build status on 13 Oct 2026. Vendor limits and permissions on this page follow the vendor's public documentation as reviewed on 13 Oct 2026. The vendor's own page is the final word.
